Seventh Generation Multipurpose Wipes

I'm super stoked to try out these wipes!
Once again, I've partnered with Generation Good to talk about their new product, Seventh Generation Multi-Purpose wipes. I know we've all got those Lysol or Clorox wipes tucked away under the sink for when we're cooking with yuckies and this is Seventh Generation's take on those products. First of all, you will be really impressed with the ingredients list on the package. No muss, no fuss, easy to understand ingredients. The scent isn't "fake lemon" or "pretend clean laundry" it's really made from actual mint. At first, I thought the mint scent would be off-putting for cleaning, but I actually really appreciate it. It's really strong scented and powers through even the toughest of messes and odors.

I have been using these wipes to clean up the animal, kid, and kitchen messes and they really work great. I am all about the environment and these have a good footprint that you don't have to feel guilty about at the end of the day. They are made from real ingredients, not chemicals, and they are safer for your house and your family. Once again, Seventh Gen hits it out of the park! Try these out today, you won't be disappointed you did!

Note: I received this product for free in partnership with Generation Good, but as always, the thoughts and opinions of the product are my very own from my noggin. Thanks for reading! 💗

Seventh Generation Baby Wipes! ;

Amazing Product!

I am a firm believer in keeping baby wipes around my house for anytime my little tornado makes a mess. But, everyone in my family has eczema and allergies, so it's hard to find a product that I can trust won't mess with my son's sensitive skin. So when I got the chance to partner with Generation Good and try out Seventh Generation's baby wipes, I jumped up and down at the opportunity. As you know, I've partnered with them in the past and tried out lots of crazy good products like laundry detergent and diapers.

First of all, not all baby wipes are made equal. I think we can all agree there are a couple of things that can make baby wipes REALLY unpleasant like smells, thinness (nobody wants their hand in doody), and ingredients that will irritate sensitive skin on kiddos. I couldn't believe my eyes when I got the package of wipes and turned it directly to the ingredients. There were only 8 ingredients listed!!!! If you look at typical wipes, there are 50 ingredients all with chemical names and no explanations of why they're in the product. Seventh Generation has even taken the liberty to explain to you what all of the ingredients are AND what they're in there for! The transparency of this company simply cannot be beaten!

Next, I opened them up, and the first thing I did was try and give them a tear to see if they were going to be able to stand up to tough messes and icky bottoms. They barely gave any at all with a hefty tug.

Finally, I gave them the smell test. There was absolutely no scent detected. When the package says fragrance-free, they mean it! I put the wipes to the test on my messy faced kid, and they more than do the trick and you don't have to use 20 to get the job done!

In conclusion, I am so very satisfied with the product, I can't wait to go out and buy it. It's a winner!! Thanks, Seventh Generation and Generation Good!!!

Note: I received this product for free for purposes of writing a review, but the thoughts and opinions on the product are completely my own.

Bring it on 2019 and Happy Birthday Tristan!

So, it's officially my first blog post of the new year! December 2018 kicked me in the you know what. It was a long and trying time. We had lots of financial and emotional setbacks and it felt like it was going to kill us slowly. 2019 started off in a rocky way as well when my teeth grinding (stress related, of course) pinched the trigeminal nerve in my face. I am still recovering from that. It's better in the morning and then through the course of the day, the swelling gets worse and I get dizzy and painful and have to take it easy. Saturday I felt overly frustrated, but then I decided I am going to kick this year's ass. I went back into keto mode hardcore (currently on day 3, no cheats, no ifs, and, or buts) and I've even started exercising using the Nintendo Switch's few fitness games it has. I only started with 15 minutes because I'm SO out of shape.

But, I'm killing it. Even though I have to lay down forever in the evenings, I'm going to kick this year in gear!

Today is a really special day, it is my little man's 5th birthday. I don't even know how this is possible. It's so crazy to me that he's getting so big and will be heading off to school soon. In dedication to him, I made this little video for his birthday. I hope you guys enjoy it, even though my app threw some repeats in there. Happy birthday little man. I love you!!!
